Back in May I went to a meeting in Paris (hence the photos). I was lucky to attend, invited by my supervisor, as it was full of the leaders in my field. Even better, we went first class on eurostar courtesy of my department. Better still, but not at the time, we were delayed due to fire by more than 2 hours on the way back. For such delays, Eurostar issues a completely free return journey as a refund. So I converted it into two singles, first class, and Kat and I are going to Paris on our way - overland - to Morocco in a couple of weeks. Sweet.
